Baby Comes Home:
A Parent’s Guide to a Healthy and Well First 18 Months
by Dr. Paul
About the Book
Ensuring a long and healthy life starts by fostering and providing the best beginning possible.
Unlike most baby care books, this early child care guide by pediatrician and health communicator DR. PAUL Roumeliotis takes a unique approach by emphasizing what scientific advances have confirmed—that what happens early on in life affects one’s overall health decades down the road.
Baby Comes Home communicates the latest scientific explanations on how positive or negative early childhood experiences can have lifelong consequences. The book begins by describing the vital changes that occur in a baby’s brain during the first eighteen months. It then explores the new “Science of TLC,” that shows how tender, loving, and caring relationships with babies help to positively shape their brains. The book then presents important practical information on safety in the home and outdoors, baby routines/patterns, immunizations, injury prevention, nutrition, and more. To complete this useful guide, DR.PAUL also reviews common baby care issues and concerns as well as illnesses and conditions commonly seen during the first few years of life. Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, daycare teacher, or child caregiver, this book is an excellent reference for your baby’s current and future health, wellness, and prosperity.

With the recent outbreak of measles across North America, and the controversial decision of parents choosing not to vaccinate their children– Dr. PAUL’s book, Baby Comes Home, has never been more critical as an all-encompassing guide for childcare before and after a baby is born.
Beyond just looking at the parent/child relationship but also the surrounding environment and its impact, Dr. PAUL has a more holistic look on child care. He speaks on the importance of immunization and “using the science to our advantage”, stating plain and simple, “I’ve lived through diseases that have killed babies that are today prevented by vaccines.”
We find out how Dr. PAUL’s writing style and inclusion of the lastest studies on epigenetics distinguishes Baby Comes Home from any other childcare book out in the market; the difference between caring for your baby and “spoiling” your baby; how neglect within the first 18 months can lead to chronic diseases later in the child’s life; and just how crucial it is for parents to have a preventative mindset.
Listen in to find out more about Baby Comes Home and how the tips and resources inside this must-read book can help a parent’s comfort, along with helping our children have optimal prosperity in their lives.
