About the Author

Raamayan Ananda has been an active Michael Jackson fan since he can remember walking. Before he could even walk he did the moonwalk backwards, and it has been MJ ever since then. Raamayan was nicknamed “Michael” growing up in school, and has held the torch of love and connection to MJ ever since. When Michael died, he went on a deep search within himself to understand WHY this man, whom he had only known through audio and video, could touch his heart and emotions so deeply? Overall, he found answers in both the western and eastern mystical traditions-answers that he wants to share with you.

Raamayan has unearthed Michael Jackson’s poetry, which few people have read, and has also done a full-length commentary showing the true and hidden meanings behind Michael’s words. Michael’s words of poetry are, ultimately, the closest we come to understanding the King of Pop with a veiled soul.

Michael Jackson: The Man Behind the Mirror is so named because we only see a reflection of ourselves when we adore a great artist. We create a projection and an image of them based on our own desires, yet behind that mirror, there is a unique, beautiful and sensitive soul crying to be seen.
