Influence Publishing is an independent publisher based on Vancouver Island, B.C.   Influence books have the power to challenge and affect the reader’s beliefs or actions on that particular subject.  All of our books have a positive inspiring message based on personal experience.  It matters that you matter.  If you have the capacity to Influence change in the world with your book, we want to hear from you!

We are publishing thought-provoking and inspiring non-fiction books on topics we think are important and interesting to our readers. A small intimate publisher, we work with the author on making their book a best seller, rather than turning out multiple publications with no thought to the author and their success.  For this reason we will not accept unsolicited manuscripts and we ask that you carefully read the submission guidelines for queries before filling in the form on our website.

Qualification for submission is by personal presentation of your book project at the Mastermind Publishing Circle only or via personal  appointment with our acquisitions coach.

If your topic is not suitable for our publishing genre we advise of its suitability for one of our other publishing partners; this way we can give you the best chance possible of getting your book published. We also act as a agent for many other reputable publishers, including HayHouse.

How is Influence Publishing different?

In 2011 eight of our authors made Best seller status on their launch date.  This was only achieved with careful strategy for the packaging of the book (in the Mastermind circle) including powerful titles and sub-titles and imaginative strong cover images.  We research our title choices based on key word searches that the reader uses to find the information they want.  Our book designs are winners, just take a look at our best seller list!  We promote collaborative author support, the journey to publishing is not a lonely writer stressing on deadlines, it is a joyful experience shared with 8 other authors in circle supporting one another on a monthly basis and keeping one another accountable.  Your circle of authors colalborate to ensure everyone has a support team and collaborative network to assist in the book literally being launched!  Take a look at our circles presently on their way to publishing at www.inspiredauthorscircle.com

Our Team

Julie Salisbury is the Founder of Influence Publishing and InspireABook.  Julie facilitates the Mastermind circles and personal acquisitions coaching and substantive content editing.  Julie also facilitates the monthly author circles and is the marketing mastermind behind the collaborative launch campaigns and live launch events.

Greg Salisbury is the Technical Director.  Greg coordinates all the typesetting, book design, distribution, print management and royalty payments.  He is also the webmaster for all the company websites InspireABook.com, InfluencePublishing.com, InspiredAuthorscircle.com and AuthorsofInfluence.com

Joe Gregory is our UK and European publishing joint venture partner.  Bookshaker collaborates with Influence on International marketing promotions.

Sheeva Alkar is our E-Book technician and typesetter.
